Alphabet sounds
Note to teachers: Do not be
afraid to teach the alphabet by rhyming and grouping similar sounds.
This is far more effective in the end. When you teach the alphabet in
order, students often memorize the sound order and don’t actually know the sound of many of the individual letters.
