Buying clothes (men)

  

These are pants.
They are tan.
They are pants for men.

   • customer = person who buys something

• sales person = person who sells things

• I need a blue shirt.
• The only blue shirts we have are size small.
• Will you get more later?
• Yes, at the end of the season.
 [At the end of the season = at the end of the summer  OR  at the end of the winter]  

• Where can I find a shopping cart?
• They are by the entrance [door].

 

• Where can I try on these clothes?  I have 5 shirts.
• The dressing room is in the back corner. But you are only allowed 3 items.  (You can only take 3 things with you.)

• O.K. Can I leave these 2 shirts with you and come back?

• I am buying this for my brother. Can I return it if the size is not right?
• You can return it within 30 days if you have your receipt.  You can exchange it, but we don't give refunds.

I like to go "window shopping".  This means: I like to look at things but not buy them.

• customer: O.K. Thank you.  Where can I try   them on?
• Sales person:  At the back of the store.
• customer: OK, thank you. 
 

• Sales person:  Did the shirts fit?

• customer: Yes, thank you.  Where do I pay for them? 
• Sales person:  At the front of the store where you came in.
 

• cashier:  Did you find everything you wanted?

• customer: Yes, thank you.  

• cashier:  This shirt is on sale and so it cannot be returned.

• customer: O.K.  I understand.
